Serio / Legal
Privacy Policy
Last updated: 13 October 2026
What stays on your device
Your Watching, Planned and Completed lists and watched episode records are saved locally. Serio does not require an account or sync your library between devices. Removing the app removes its local data, subject to your device's backup settings.
Catalog and ratings requests
When you search for or open a series, the app requests show, episode and cast information from TVmaze. Search requests include the text you enter; detail requests include a TVmaze show ID. When an IMDb rating is available, the app may request it from Agregarr using IMDb IDs. Like other internet requests, these services may receive network information needed to serve the request. Their own policies govern their processing.
Analytics and crash diagnostics
Serio uses Firebase Analytics and Crashlytics to understand app use and diagnose failures. Events can include the screen viewed, actions such as adding a series or marking an episode watched, content IDs, counts and app version. Crash reports and SDK data may include technical app, device and installation information. The app does not send raw search text or your complete library as an uploaded dataset to Firebase. It does not use these events for advertising personalization.
Read Google's Firebase privacy information for more about its services and data practices.
This website
This site has no account, form or analytics script, and it does not intentionally set tracking cookies. Its hosting infrastructure processes basic requests to deliver pages and protect the service. If you use the email link, your message is handled by your email provider and the recipient's email service.
Why data is used and how long it stays
Catalog requests provide series information; analytics help improve the app; diagnostics help fix crashes and errors. Local library data remains until you remove it or uninstall the app. Third-party services retain request, analytics and diagnostic data under their own policies and retention settings. Serio does not currently provide an in-app control to delete provider-held analytics data.
Your choices and questions
You can stop using Serio and remove locally stored data by uninstalling the app. For questions about data held by outside services or a request relating to your data, contact support@example.com. Because Serio has no user account, a request may require additional information to locate a specific record.
This policy may be updated when the app or its services change. The date above indicates the current version.
